Parting is such sweet ......

sorrow. I really like Ty for INXS' show. However he was not what the band needed. Ty was very soulful and not rock enough. I cried as he said his good-bye to all his friends and the band and so did he. He was sincerely heart broken. I hope he goes far in other things.
I can not believe I have turned into such a reality t.v. junky.


A quick little reminder for those of you who are faithful readers. I am still praying for Rebekah she is on such a roller coaster with her health she has anmonia and still is not home. Please help me remember her.

Why is it when you go to the dentist this is what you expect. So you all know I am terrified of the dentist. I start to shake from head to toe my stomach gets extremely ill and all I want to do is cry, cry, and did I mention cry. I sat in the lobby and every so often I would hear the sounds of the office, drills, suction,and sometimes it honestly sounded like a torture chamber.I knew I had to be brave for goodness sake I was in pain. Lucky me lucky me, when I went into the back room a chamber I did not find but a nice nice man.fewwwwwwww! what a relief.
They took x-rays to tell me mam you have a cavity in a broken tooth. No shit Sherlock, why do you think I am here. No I did not say that but yes I thought it. You see all 4 of my wisdom teeth are in and 1 of them broke. The doctor gave me antibiotics & really strong pain meds.Until yes you guessed it ORAL SURGERY BUMBUMBUM! In case you were wondering they do not put you out any more so I have to stay awake this next week while they literally yank 4 of my pearly whites out of my mouth. but hey the pain should be gone tomorrow. Thanx doc.

Well this morning went well. Better then last night she cried for about 45 mins. because she was nervous about being gone all day and going to the big play ground. Well as soon as we got there she was swamped by all of her friends that were in her class and were not in her class.

I wish I was a fly on the wall to see how the whole day goes. She has her own desk this year not tables and she even has text books. Things will for sure be different. I can not wait for her to come home and tell me all about it.

Some last minute summer fun!

We have been having a major heat wave hear in Cali. so Steve and I decided the boys needed to cool off and have a little fun. Here are some of the pics I took you all know I have my camera at my hip always. We had a real laid back weekend. Sat. was Kaylee's b-day party and that was alot of fun and Trisha will post about that tomorrow. Then today we all went to church. My brother and Trisha are going to church with us now and it is awsome.


This collage thing is a feature from picasa2 and I love it except it cuts off some of the pics. but is a good way to display alot and only take up a little room. I am super busy tonight getting ready for the first day of school tomorrw so will post after I take Emmalee to school and the boys go down for a nap.

Remember Keep praying for Rebekah. We must not forget this little girl. She is fighting every day and we should fight with prayer for her .

Tonight I found this blog called Rebekahs page. This precious little angel is sick very sick. She needs all the prayer she can get. I hope that even if you are not one to pray that her story will inspire you to pray anyways. Most of you know that I lost my 5 year son Evan old three years ago, so this story makes me litterally ache. Going through this especially with a child at home like this women has is so hard.I just wanted to do something to help and this is all I know that will be comforting. To Know that so many people are praying for you and your family has to help a little. Well that is enough I hope you all go and read about her and pray for her and her family. thank you for helping.

4 Days left of summer break!

Well Monday is the first day of first grade. Emmalee is a little nervous she has just come to realize that she has to stay all day and that she will be on the big playground I know she will be fine she is a social butterfly, but she does not know that.

Wednesday is Taylors first day of 6th grade. At her school junior high is from 6th to 8th. So , yes that means junior high. I think Steve and I are are more nervous then her.

School shopping is done for both girls. And I can not help but wonder what life will be like when the twins start school and Taylor is in high school and Emmy is junior high wow! now that will be expensive.

I think I am going to walk Emmy on her first day. You see we live 3 blocks from her school and then I will have to take pics of her and her friends that she has not seen all summer. The one good thing is her and Trisha's little man Jeremy will finally be on the same playground and be able to eat lunch at the same time. He is going into second grade.

Our trip to Seaworld! updated!

Well we went to Seaworld again this year thanks to the season passes we have. The boys loved looking at the fish and other animals. We went to the cirque de la mar show. WOW! was it fun! we also saw the Shamu's night show. The girls did some extreme games and played on the huge playground. well, needless to say we are all tierd and I am gonna take a nap with the boys later so will post more stuff later.

Sorry I forgot to mention something. Steve made me and the kids get on the sky ride. that is the one that goes over the water and it is really high up in the air. needless to say I cried all the way accross and back again. NEVER NEVER NEVER again. all I could think was if We fall we will then be fish food for ever and trust me I would feed alot of fish.

Their First Tea Party! & Happy birthday!

Yesterday was my Brenna's 6th B-day. My friend(her mom) did a addorable tea party. just thought I would post so pics of the girls having fun. THey had a make-up station painted nails, hd tea, heartshaped snadwhiches, and cupcakes. The girls all had so much fun. Thanks Kira for the fun time.

Found A GOOD dessert recipe

Apple Burrito's

Yummy! and EASY!

1can of apple pie filling

1package of tortilla's

And for the glaze:

1cup of powdered sugar

1teaspoon of vanilla

1tablespoon of butter

2teaspoons of water

make the glaze and keep hot.

put apple filling inside the tortilla and roll like a burrito

fry them in oil till golden brown, let them strain on a paper towel.

before serving drizzle glaze over the top.

I found tonight that the glaze is very sweet it is also good with powdered sugar and cinnimon over the top.

Stuff Portrait Friday.

For portrait stuff Friday we were supposed to take a pic of something we made and that is the wreath of cala lillies, something we want to give away and that is my grandmothers vase that one day my daughter will have,and finally our jack of all trades and that is my heart. I need it to love my children and be understanding and all the stuff that come along with being a stay at home mom.

My TBITS for Friday.

I was over on grody-jodys blog this morning and she challenged us to post so TBIT from the past. so here are my two. She did one food and one object. I am going to post two objects.


1.I know yo umust all remember Garbage Pail Kids. My brother and I used to collect them. I remember having boxes of them they were so funny and gross.


2. My foavorite books when I was young were Pen Pals. I would be so anxious for those boobks but I was very young when I read those. They were my first big reading addiction. I was in elementry. And my other favorite set of books were the Fear Street collection and anything by R.L. Stien. It was way before he did the whole goose bump thing I was in jr. high and i think I read them all.

3.Then of cours my countless hours spent in my room or in front of the t.v watching( you guessed it) New Kids on the Block., and the many more teen idols.

4. Do not forget Rainbow Brite , Strawberry Shortcake, My Little Ponys, and Cabbage patch kids. I had all of them. HEY WHO REMEMBERS Jem dolls I cracked my head open because of those dolls. I put them in a barbie case because I hated barbie and they weighed my bike down on one side and I fell on a brick wall and had to have stitches in my coconut.

Well grody that is all I can do now but if I had time I could fill this blog with memories. Some of these are from the eighties and some are from the early 90's. Wow! where does the time go.

O.K Trisha and Debbie I expect to see yours at some time during this day.

Well my chlildren are SICK!!!!!!!!! Quentin started running a fever.We went to the Dr. and she said the flu virus is going around( the wierd picpicture to the side is the flu virus) and they could give him no antibotics because it was not a bateria. Well guess what my 6 year old started running a low grade fever also yesterday by the time 4am came around her fever was 104 so you guessed it I was up all night with her. Zachary has been pulling his ear all night and Quentin has a follow up 2morrow so I will have Zach checked then.My house is a mess and I am beyond tired and the worst of it, my ex Emmy's dad informed me she has to come over anyway. So that means I will spend my weekend worrying about her.I wish she could just stay home, so I can keep an eye on her.
I absolutly hate when my kids are sick. I feel so bad for them. Well I am gonna try and get some sleep tonight before one of them wakes up. so good night all. Talk to you all soon.

Tator Tot Hot Dish!

First things first 3 post today I must find a way to occupy my time like maybe CLEANING.

MMMMMMMM!!!!!!GOOD. Is what my family said. My very picky daughter loved it and wanted more. Hold on to your seat people who know her. well anyway I thought I would share the recipe with my fellow blogging moms who might need a quick but good dish.

You Flatten 1lb of uncooked ground beef in the bottom of a 9"square pan.

You then pour 1 can of undiluted cream of chicken soup over that.

You then grate shredded chedder sheese over that make that layer fairly thick.

And finally top the cheese with a layer of tator tots and onion rings and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.

How Precious!

I took this picture at a birthday party for a friends son on Sunday. These precious fingers belong to my oldest twin Zachary. This photo has nothing to do with anything I just love it. Sometimes I find myself admiring the little things on my children.

Maybe I do this because of what Evan went through maybe I I am just wierd. But i think his hands are so perfect and sweet.

I guess I should wait till they break something right.

After I gave birth to them Trisha my sister-n-law took so many pics of their little hands and feet for me and I cherish those pics. This is just to add to the collection.

20 pounds! Finally.

YEAH!!!!!!
they are both finally 20lbs.
That means the can face forward in thier car seats.
That should be a adventure.
Zachary is fully crawling now. I am so proud of him.
In case you were wondering he is the one with horrible expression on his face.

Today was the MSI company picnic, and wow did we have fun!

The pics are in no such order. The boys had fun looking at all the fun and colorful things then they passed out for a little bit.

The girls had thier face painted and went on all the rides. They even went on a boat.They met up with old friends and had a blast. Let me tell you a little secret I also went on the boats and while Iwas getting out the boat moved and I fell back. Thank goodness there was a boat behind me I landed in that instead of the dirty water. I was so humilated.

Steve had to go in the dunk tank so did all managers and supervisors and I must say his line was the longest.HAHAHAHA! I sank him twice and the girls each once.Today was his actual birthday and we went to the Speghetti Factory after and had dinner where poor Quentin passed out and Zachary had to lay his head down for a rest.

Needless to say we had fun playing games and going on the rides and spening time together as a family. Happy birthday love.
