What a why to honor!

My BFF's Grandpa Passed away and she flew down here for the funeral and I also attended. I have been to a few at the national cematary but when they are your own grandparents it is all a blur so I was really listening this time and what they said. I was so touuched at the thirteen folds of the flag. so here it is then I promised BFF and her grandma I would snap some pics of the 21 gun salute and the senquense is below. What they do for a fallen comrad is so amazing the honor and pride you feel for your contrey and the men that serve it is wonderful.

The first fold of our flag is a symbol of life.

The second fold is a symbol of our belief in the eternal life.

The third fold is made in honor and remembrance of the veteran departing our ranks who gave a portion of life for the defense of our country to attain a peace throughout the world.

The fourth fold represents our weaker nature, for as American citizens trusting in God, it is to Him we turn in times of peace as well as in times of war for His divine guidance.

The fifth fold is a tribute to our country, for in the words of Stephen Decatur, "Our country, in dealing with other countries, may she always be right; but it is still our country, right or wrong."

The sixth fold is for where our hearts lie. It is with our heart that we pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

The seventh fold is a tribute to our Armed Forces, for it is through the Armed Forces that we protect our country and our flag against all her enemies, whether they be found within or without the boundaries of our republic.

The eighth fold is a tribute to the one who entered in to the valley of the shadow of death, that we might see the light of day, and to honor mother, for whom it flies on Mother's Day.

The ninth fold is a tribute to womanhood; for it has been through their faith, love, loyalty and devotion that the character of the men and women who have made this country great have been molded.

The tenth fold is a tribute to father, for he, too, has given his sons and daughters for the defense of our country since they were first born.

The eleventh fold, in the eyes of a Hebrew citizen, represents the lower portion of the seal of King David and King Solomon, and glorifies, in their eyes, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

The twelfth fold, in the eyes of a Christian citizen, represents an emblem of eternity and glorifies, in their eyes, God the Father, the Son, and Holy Ghost.

And thirteenth,When the flag is completely folded, the stars are uppermost, reminding us of our national motto, "In God we Trust."

Back to ER but this time a little more serious!

*UPDATE* It is Zachary's ear. it is very infected. My POOR POOR babies!

Well I am the kind of mom that has to check on kids before iIgo to bed or I can not sleep and I am now thankful that I am like this last night while taking my shower Q. threw up again. I cleaned him up and he went back to sleep and then on my way to bed I check that last time and OMG! he was breathing so fast so I got the watch and started counting. You see the NICU and many hospital stays I learned how to watch and do this stuff. well I counted 52 breaths a minute and normal is 20 to 25. So I called the nurse help line and we came to the conclusion that 102 fever and labored breathing spelled out EMERGENCY!!!! so off we went and sure enough he has phnomonia. His O2 was between 90 ad 94% and they wanted 95 and above so he had to be but on blow by O2 to help him. he got a shot of antibiotics and lots of meds and sent home and now Z. is acting beyond sick as well we know he has a bad cold but I think it too has gotten way worse. so we have an appointment at 3:00pm to see.

LEt me tell you this though last night he made the nurse put a braclet on his spidemans leg as well as his. I thought that was so funny. he would put the mask of O2 to spideys face then his then mine. As long as motrin is in him he is up and walking around as soon as it wears off he is down on couch sleeping.. I really think that when he threw up he assprerated and that is what caused the whole thing. cause when i put him down he was doing good minus the fever. then as soon as he got sick it started the labored breathing. All I want is for him to get better. Both of them. This morning while one of the kids I take care of came Zach threw up on me so now they are all headed home cause nobody needs to get this kind of sick.
Oh and P.S. these pics are all of happier days LOL!

~Last night went well~

It might be because they were so tired they could not see straight. We went to Taylors Softball practice(Might I add she did very good) and they litterally ran for a hour and a half. came home took a bath and then ate dinner and then off to their new beds. The Twins will be 2 and half next month and they were born 3 month premature it is amazing to me that we are here already. I also think nap time is a different story. I will let you know how that goes. I now need to work on taking all the baseball stuff down for the past 2 years it has been half Angels(zachs side) and half Dodgers (quens side) . All I really need are some posters and those wall stickers and it is done. I also have a picture from above of Quentin holding spidermans finger from when we went to Universal that I want to blow up for the wall, and one of all the kids with him. Plus we just had some done at sears in their spiderman jackets and big spiderman dolls. well wish me luck with nap time. And on a smaller Note I am not as hungry today as i have been for the past 2 days i am trying very hard and it is working. Yesterday for breakfast I had yogart and 2/3 a cup of dry cereal, lunch meat cheese and crackers, like a luncable but with deli sliced meat and only 2 slices of cheese, I skiped my snack which as been friut the last couple of times cause i was so busy then a grilled chicken salad for dinner. this moring I ate 1 over easy egg and 1 slice of toast and lunch will be a lean cuisene. so I have patted my self on the back. so here are the pics of the boys in their new beds.

We are going to do a little Spiderman redecorating and that will be it till bunk beds at the age of 4.I was a little choked up when we ordered them cause they are getting to be big boys now! They will be here in a week. I know they will love them. I will post pics of them in them.

~Toddler Training~

Well Q. can crawl out of his crib when he is awake and come to get me. But i really feel the are not ready for todder beds so instead i decided to try a little trainig period for the todller bed. We will see how Napptime goes today. I put their crib rail down so it is a a little more easier to get in and out and they both are so stuburn tey have to get in and out by themselves. My fingers are crossed. I think it will be a long nap time. I have been so busy with baskets, weekend work at the studio and the daily kids i have. but i am feeling good Honey and I have reached a weight limit and are going to look into turning our garage into a place to get healthy. We are extrmely determined and ready. My only weekness is the junk food. aarrrgghhhh! and the carbs :) who's isn't :) I might put one of those counters on the blog or just keep you posted on my progress and his, I need to loose 70 pounds to b edown at my goal wieght which is 160 so yes do the math iam bigger thn i ave ever wanted to be ever. so something has to be done.
