WOW!
tonight i watched my daughter coloring in her map state by state watching intently to hear who would be her future. I saw the look in her eyes through my tears streaming down my face. she was proud she was excited she was validated as a child of a different race. Her future looks bright.
I will never forget how it felt to have my daughter sit in my lap while he gave his BEAUTIFUL speech. She took it all in and I am proud to say YES WE CAN!

it definitely feels different voting as a parent. i think of my own kids when i was at the voting booth. pretty cool!
