High Risk Infant Clinic

Today we went to the HRI clinic. We were told that the boys are about 3 to 4 months old which is their adjusted age any way that was good news;however, they did find a little bit of stiffness in Quentins legs which should disappear between the 3rd and 6th month adjusted age so we have to go back in 2 months instead of 4 months like Zachary. The therapist showed me ways to help Quentin and his reflexes problems. They seem to think it will be gone buy the next visit. Lets keep our fingers crossed.huh? They said that it is almost gone now which means we are on the right track. The doctors we saw today were great doctors, very reassuring and they explained things in a way we could all understand. I will keep you all posted on things. In May we have neurology and HRI check up for Quentin so I will post those also.

Easter Sunday

Today was Easter. Wow! A big first for all of us, Steve and I and the boys. We went to church with Taylor because she was singing with her Sunday school. We then had a visit with Steves family and then Eric and Trisha. Over all we had a good Easter with our families. The boys got there first professional pictures taken also this week and they turned out wonderful and Emmalee was able to ice skate with princesses with her dad and step mom. Hopefully everybody else out there had wonderful Easters also.

Zachary is about 16lbs

We are going to the high risk infant clinic on the 29th of this month for an evaluation on the boys because they were so early and that will happen every 4 months until they are 2years old. Both boys are doing great right now they have a virus that is going around but staying strong. Zachary is trying to be independent and learn to sit up with a little help and Quentin loves to talk like mommy.HAHAHA! We will be back soon with more info and updates we send lots of love to everybody who keeps reading.

Congrats!

Eric and Trisha are officially in escrow on a beautiful house. They both are very excited and we will also be having a house warming party soon. It is three doors down from where they live now so the kids will be able to keep their friends and becca won't be to far away from her boyfriend, and all of their schools will stay the same. Most important they did not move to far from us. well congrats to my big brother and Trisha we are all so happy for you..

The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas

Last night Steve and I went to see the Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. It was wonderful. We were high up but not a bad seat in the house I cannot wait to see Forever Tango next month. For christmas my mom bought us the season for the Kodak. We had a blast and the theater was beautiful inside and out. They wouldn't allow my camera so we used Steve's camera.HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH!!!!!!!!!!!1

What Great Weather!!!!!

Today was the first warm day in a very long time. The boys were able to enjoy the weather while Emmalee tried to master a bike with training wheel up high. Almost got it! She then was invited next door to Lindsey's (also her dance teacher) to enjoy the pool.

Eye Doctors Appt.

Today we went to the eye doctor in Loma Linda and we got great news. Both boys have normal vision for now. Things might change in next 6 months but the doctor said that is very unlikely. This is just one more thing the boys will not have to struggle with after being preemies.

Some people are just so kind!

At lunch on march 6 Steve and I took the boys wih us to lunch at Millies cafe. Behind us was a man who couldn't help but notice us with both car seats. As he talked to us and the boys, Zachary put out that wonderful smile as so did Quentin. The gentleman finished his meal and when leaving his tip he put 1 dollar on top of each baby and asked us to put that in their pggy banks. He must have been a grandpa hah? see there are still some kind and generous people left in this world. so keep your heads up! We told the man thanks and he hurried off to the rest of his sunday afternoon.
